It is located in the secondary jungle at the banks of Rio Arajuno only 4 hours away by car and canoe from Quito.
The lodge offers sustainable- and eco-tourism, and they rely on clean energy to fuel the site.
They keep sustainability close to their heart and have recycled as many materials as possible. Moreover, the two-story cabañas are inspired by nature’s design.
From the balcony of their rooms guests can relax in a hammock and enjoy and observe different types of animals such as hummingbirds and colorful butterflies.

"The week at Itamandi far exceeded my expectations with its comfort and sense of luxury. It is fairly accessible too which was a big plus as we did not want to venture too far off the beaten track.
